My family was born in raised in Buenos Aires before coming to the US, but Argentina wasn’t a country when they were born there, would they have been Argentines?
I don’t know where they were from before then.

I’m travelling to South America next week…In the past when going to Asia I waited until Bangkok to purchase my malaria tablets at the Boots chemist there as they were much cheaper than Ireland. Is it the same with South America? or has anybody any advice on purchasing Malarone in Buenos Aires? Appreciate any advice

I plan on going to brazil in December. I am thinking about buying a ticket from Washington DC to Buenos Aires, Argentina and then catching a GOL flight the next day from Buenos Aires to Curitiba, Brazil because that is my intended destination. It actually comes out about $300 cheaper than a direct flight. Now would i need to a visa to go to Argentina too? or would there be any problems with that? I intend to actually spend about 2-3 days in Buenos Aires on my return trip back. Help please?

I need to know where to download the national roads of Argentina, Bolivia and Peru for our next trip in a few days to plan our route. We are leaving from Buenos Aires towards Machu Pichu. I’m not sure where to download roads to Google Earth. Thanks!

hi! this is an EMERGENCY and i cant fly because i have a fear of flying. but i need to get to argentina from europe by boat. cruise or whatever boat is fine!!
my destination is buenos aires and anywhere from europe is fine.( preferably holland, belgium, italy or france)

i would like to know if anyone has any experience about being able to rent a car in a country, ie: lima and being able to drive it to buenos aires, and returning it there… is there a company that offers such service.
or does anyone know if it is possible to buy a car from one country and use it to travel or do you need paperworks and all those things like north america

North America: Chicago, USA; Canada

Latin America: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Monterrey, México, La Habana, Cuba; Buenos Aires, Argentina

Oceania: Australia; New Zeland

Africa:Nairobi, Kenya; Cape Town, South Africa.

I personally think Europe, Asia, and North America shouldn’t be host because Europe is already hosting the 2012 and 2014 Olympics, Asia is hosting the 2008 Olympics, the USA has already been a lot of times host and Canada is already host of the 2010 Olympics.
It is unfair not to let Latin American nor African countries to host because this 2 regions combined have only hosted 1 Olympic Game (Mexico City, 1968)

I know Africa may not have enough money to organize the Olympics but at least they (The IOC) should them.
